Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.
It’s my hope to understand you better through this and also to gain a greater understanding of humanity and how people make decisions.

Coke or Pepsi?
*I’m going to be offline for the better part of next week except my Alley post next Thurs.

I can do Diet Coke, but I really prefer Dr. Pepper. What can I say? I'm a Texas girl!
ReplyDeleteHmm...they're both good. But I've had some serious cravings for regular Coke this week. :-)
ReplyDelete(Hope you had a nice 4th)
Coke! Let me put my emphasis on COKE!
ReplyDeleteAnne took my answer. :p I don't drink full-sugar sodas anymore, anyway. I prefer Coke Zero (or store-brand equivalent) over other diet sodas.
ReplyDeleteI have to ponder this......
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.....
Pepsi is good from the fountain. But only from the fountain. Have you ever noticed that? It's the same drink, right? So I just don't get it. Why, when it goes inside a can, does it turn all nasty?
Coke on the other hand...doesn't have the fountain vs. can conundrum. BUT it does have this weird thing where regular Coke is gross, but Diet Coke is amazing.
See....this is no easy question to answer.
Yet, I always buy Diet Coke for my refrigerator. Would never, ever buy Pepsi. Unless I could somehow buy a fountain and drink from that.
I shall go look at eBay now.
A very deep question for a Friday morning, Wendy. ;)
I prefer Coke over Pepsi. Diet Pepsi over diet Coke. Coke zero over either.
ReplyDeleteBut diet A&W over all! :) Have a great weekend.
Hmmm, maybe Coke? I don't drink sodas anymore, just iced tea and waters.
ReplyDeleteMorning Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a soda girl. Personally I think Coke and Pepsi taste exactly the same so I'm fine with either...although I usually choose Root Beer. :)
Diet Coke. Hands down.
ReplyDeleteCoke. Especially if it's vanilla coke. That stuff helped keep me awake through my first year with my first kid, who did not sleep. (This was before I drank coffee. My son was up every two hours until he was ten months old.) THEN THEY RETIRED IT. D: And then brought it back. :D
ReplyDeletePepsi! Because that's how I was raised! Also, Coke gets a lot of bad press. However, the things that apply to Coke could probably apply to Pepsi as well, as I'm sure they're not that much different.
ReplyDeleteRumors about Coke, picked apart by rumor-busters:
http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/w/watervscoke.htm
1. Dr. Pepper
ReplyDelete2. Coke
3. Coke Zero
I'm a Coke girl, but I just read this article about how the caramel coloring in dark sodas is a carcinogen that causes cancer. I haven't had a sip since!!! lol I'm very impressionable!
ReplyDeleteA root beer float is just about the only soda I would drink if I had to. Hugs :O)
ReplyDeleteCherry Pepsi
ReplyDeleteCoke. Why? It tastes better to me. I like the formula.
ReplyDeleteAnd you?
Coke. Preferably diet. And as Jeanette asked, which do you prefer?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Either/or. Doesn't really matter to me as long as caffeine is involved. :)
ReplyDeleteWendy:
ReplyDeleteI am the odd person out here. I liked both until I couldn't drink either. I have issues with caffiene- it robs me of my sleep and causes a couple of other side effects.
I like A&W Root Beer or Mug Root Beer. Also CANADA DRY Ginger Ale.
Neither.
ReplyDeleteI very seldom drink pop (that's what we call in NW PA), but when I do, it's Sprite or other clear pop. No diet. I hate artificial sweetener. I'm a skim milk, iced green tea, and water girl.
COKE. Diet nothing.
ReplyDelete~ Wendy
Diet Coke and addicted and so trying to get FREE
ReplyDeleteOh, neither. I strongly dislike colas. How about ginger ale? Or grape soda? :)
ReplyDeleteCan I have a root beer instead?
ReplyDeleteCoke. It's not as sweet to me as Pepsi.
ReplyDeleteI don't do diet. That's worst than sugar in my opinion because it messes with metabolism. We all need ours to work :)
Coke, but I'll drink Pepsi. Hubby won't drink Pepsi.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
Coke. Pepsi is too sweet. Coke with crushed ice is the best. I'll drink Coke any time, all the time--but when I'm stressed--watch out! I'm chugging it!
ReplyDeleteDiet Coke. Well, actually, Diet Dr. Pepper, but that wasn't a choice, so ... Diet Coke. :)
ReplyDeleteNeither. When I do drink soda, it's usually orange, root beer, or Sprite and always caffeine free. I prefer water, milk, or iced tea.
ReplyDeleteI gave up caffeinated sodas years ago, but when I did drink them my favorite was Mr. Pibb.
ReplyDeleteAlways and only Coke. Anything else makes me shudder. :-)
ReplyDeletecoffee ;)
ReplyDeleteCoke. And more specifically, Diet Coke. Although, I only had the option of Coke made with real cane sugar while in Haiti. It tasted different from Coke in the states. Much better, actually.
ReplyDeleteWater. :) I've never been a fan of carbonation.
