Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.

Last One Question Friday of the Year

I remember the first time I saw my mom crying. She was bawling, actually. I was in fifth grade. I took my time walking down our long lane ...
A new chapter starting in our life. My husband will be changing career paths starting in June. It's a bit scary with a bunch of unknowns, but I'm so excited to get started and see what God's got for us.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know you caused me to think more about it....I posted a longer explanation at my site and linked your post. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the economy changing for the better, my youngest to turn one and my oldest to turn seven. I'm looking forward to working with an awesome agent and getting to know some author friends better!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your blog and can't wait for more on it, a well!
Wendy, one thing I'm looking forward to in 2011 is seeing you again. Please tell me you plan to attend the ACFW conference in St. Louis.
ReplyDeleteI'm also looking forward to doing some happy dancing with you and others. I might be 50-something, but I can shake by booty with the best of 'em. =)
After reading Keli's comment, now I'm looking forward to seeing her happy dance. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd after 40+ inches of snow this month...I think I'm looking forward to SPRING!
Warm greetings Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI look forward to a kinder, caring, non-judgemental world, where no man is a 'label'. A world where the unfair stigma attached to those with mental health issues, is eradicated.
Being a man with mental illness who lives with, rather than suffers from my condition, I stay optimistic that we can make it so.
Let us celebrate diversity. All different, all equal.
Thank you for such a thoughtful blog, Wendy.
May you, may all of us, have a peaceful and positive New Year.
In kindness and respect, Gary.
A Joyous New Year to you, Wendy. I am looking forward to seeing what God has planned for me for 2011. For some reason, I have found myself excited about the future. I really don't know why but I have made several specific writing goals.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy -
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to a season of building. Building what? Ah, you'll see. :)
Blessings,
Susan
I like Gary's answer.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to meeting Jesus face to face. I think we all want to ask Him a few, "What was up with THAT?" questions, but in reality, I just want to soak up His embrace and worship Him in person. He resuced me and loved me when I couldn't even look in the mirror; I'm a different person because of Him.
And you? What are YOU looking forward to?
I love these Friday questions. Please don't stop them!
This might sound weird, but I'm looking forward to nursing a baby again. My baby is due in a couple weeks and as I look forward to meeting her, the first thing I think about is nursing. I just enjoyed it so much with my other kids. :)

Wendy! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to - well, what else, my book coming out!! Sort of. Then there's a part of me that wants to run in the opposite direction! But no, it's an exciting time. I'm also looking forward to sharing in exciting news from lots of my talented author friends, I feel like this is going to be a great year! And I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone again at ACFW!!
Hi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI hope your Christmas and New Year were Wonderful!
This year I'm looking forward to seeing what the Lord does with my blog, and my life.
God bless you
I'm looking forward to less change. 2010 was full of change, and I'm ready for life to settle down and to start routines.

I am looking forward to Spring Break! (And writing some more -- I've taken a few weeks off.)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to having the Lord either affirm my fiction with a book contract, or close the door and release me from the waiting.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the remote possibility that I might one day visit Israel, when children are old enough that I can stand to be so far away from them for a whole 10-14 days.
Most of all, I look forward to grasping my Savior's feet and crying like a baby because I finally touch Him.
I am looking forward to starting a family this year, God willing. I cannot wait to be a mom, and my husband will be an extraordinary father!
ReplyDeleteI am also looking forward to dedicating myself to writing and reading a lot more than I have been over the past couple of years. I am running down a dream...
What are you looking forward to?
