  1. Awesome list! I love how you so perfectly summed them up in one sentence. My brain is On Vacation at the moment, and I can't think of anything, but I've learned a whole lot just from your list. :D

  2. This is one of my favorite posts of all time!!! (Not even just of yours...just in general)

    hahaha...Rose will never let go...hahahah

Don't forget That taking the big green pill keeps imaginary friends away and that a really good sandwich can be a VERY pleasurable thing when in the middle of a crowded restaurant (Two of my all time favorite movies!)

  3. Very cute and awesome list! I'm not too into movies but I will never forget, 'there is no place like home!' And since Jesus is building our home right about know, I'd have to agree ;)

  4. Too fun, Wendy. I love that life is "like a box of chocolates"...: (I loved that movie.)

  5. Wow, you have seen a lot of movies. I like that you've learned some, uh, important things from them all!

I learned that "when I write I feel God's pleasure." My paraphrase from Chariots of Fire, one of my favs. Thanks for reminding me, Wendy.

  6. Great list. I recognized a lot of these. So fun!

  7. Hi Wendy-
As always thank you for stopping by my blog! :-)
From the movies I've learned that we all make a difference and impact our world significantly. My favorite movie is "It's A Wonderful Life." George teaches us that while we might feel like we've flown under the radar our whole lives, we haven't.

  8. lol! Great list! So funny because it's true!

Please stop over and follow mine as well:

    Happy Blogging,

  9. Love your list, Wendy! Isn't it amazing how much our culture has been influenced by movies? Now what about lines from books?! Is that coming tomorrow? :)

  10. I am a huge movie hound. Loved this list!!!!

  11. Oh, I'm so embarrassed. I think I know at least 90% of those. And maybe the other 10% as well. We also learned that if you get flushed down the toilet in Australia, you'll end up free in the ocean. That's always a good thing, right?

  12. That I will keep on going to them forever:)) Love movies and all those moments.

  13. Well, I know the first one's from Jerry MacGuire, because every since Brogan got glasses, people say he should learn to say that since he now looks like that little kid from that movie. :) Fun post, Wendy!

  14. Danyelle, I hope your brain enjoyed the trip. Thank you kindly for all the ways you have uplifted me and this blog.

Marybeth, I'm glad you liked it. How could I forget Miss Sally? I didn't figure out your first example though.

T.Anne, there really is no place like home. I always clean before we go on a trip so we return to a tidy house. It makes the homecoming all the more special.

Genny, it was a good one and one I've seen more than I care to share. :D Run!

Jeanette, ohhhh, that's GOOD! I've seen far more and for some reason movie lines have a way of sticking??? One of the many weird things about me.

Cindy, glad you had fun and to have you stop in for a bit.

Stephanie, Buffalo Girls won't you come out tonight...again another random thing in the brain. That movie is powerful and true to its name.

Meme, I'll have to check it out w/ that invitation.

Jody, you give me such great ideas. Honestly I haven't memorized near as much from books. That's what all my underlining is for.

Thanks, Robin. I love the term movie hound. Presently howling.

Heather, sure is. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Be proud. Stand tall. There really are only a few good woman who know them. :D :D

Terri, are you a theater goer? I'm more of a renter myself. My husband and I will even sit through an entire movie on TV (commercials and all) we already own on DVD. Nice.

Katie, your little guy is too cute, Katie!!! It's a nice fact to know. Carry it with you.

Thanks for helping me keep things light today. Sometimes that's needed. Life can get heavy enough. Who knows what tomorrow will bring...whatever it does bring, I'm just so grateful I'm loved and cared for by a trustworthy God and so are you.

    Good night and rest well.
    ~ Wendy

  15. "Nobody puts Baby in a corner!"

  17. Hmmm, great question. The things I know....I don't know. LOL But I bet there's some funny stuff there.
btw, that spiderman kiss? I still wonder how they did that. LOL

  18. Have I ever told you you're a genius?? This list made me smile. And, yes, I've seen almost every movie you mentioned!

  19. Drop Dead Fred...a big favorite of mine and my dad's :)

  20. This is great! I got such a chuckle from it this morning. Glad I found you. Thanks for sharing!
Here's one used frequently in our home: "Trust. It's what friends do."

  21. Oh Wendy, "I'll just think about that tomorrow."

  22. Love this! You know you watch too many movies when you can name which movie the info was in.
