Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I
choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the
question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance
that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide
an explanation for why you answered the way you did.
It’s my hope to understand you better through this and also
to gain a greater understanding of humanity and how people make decisions.
Pinterest
or Goodreads—pick one!

That's a tough one. My instinct says Goodreads every time. I'm a reader. I love to meet other readers. But I've had a bit of a hard time connecting on the site, mostly because I don't quite know how to insert myself into conversations or even start them. (Hello, introvert me!) So because of that, I actually spend a bit more time on Pinterest. It's more "anonymous" and it appeals to the side of me that dreams--mostly about things I'm not good at, like home decor, fashion, crafts, cooking. So yeah, I didn't answer the question, did I? :)
ReplyDeleteGAH!! I don't know if I can pick one. Okay, hmmm. Really? Only one? Heavy sigh. Okay, here it goes... GOODREADS. I think. No... Pinterest. No... Goodreads. Yeah, Goodreads. I'm sure. Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteProbably goodreads. I pin occasionally on Pinterest, but I'm sucked in. Probably because I'm not crafty. lol :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so not fair, Wendy! While I love my Pinterest app and their website, and could lose myself on them for hours if I let myself, I'm going to have to go with Goodreads. Not only do they do book giveaways and I can see what all my friends are reading, but it houses a list of all the books I want to read in the future, and if I ever lost that list I would probably cry.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like pinterest too much, which is why I'm not on it yet. So...Goodreads! I like keeping track of what I've read.
ReplyDeleteGoodreads! I love Pinterest, but Goodreads provides a service to me as a reader--a place to easily track, rate, and review the books I've read. :) Have a terrific weekend!!
ReplyDeleteGoodreads! For one simple reason: I love books. I don't love crafts. Haha! I know Pinterest has become about so much more than crafts, but still...it makes me feel intimidated. :)
ReplyDeletePinterest -- because it's friendly and fun.
ReplyDeleteGoodreads scares me. Why? Because early on someone told me, "People are mean on Goodreads."
Don't know if that's true, but it's certainly a daunting statement.
Pinterest! I love everything about it! Including that I get to pretend I'm actually going to DO or MAKE everything I pin! ;)
ReplyDeletePinterest b/c I have all my book inspiration pics there. I LOVE having visuals while I write. I also pin some writing quotes. But craft projects? NOT ME!
