Moving Thoughts Friday

Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.

It’s my hope to understand you better through this and also to gain a greater understanding of humanity and how people make decisions.

Bored to tears or wiggling with anxiety?

  1. Wiggling with anxiety because I've got so much work to do after ACFW! Yikes. Good problem to have, I guess, right? :)

  3. Wiggling with anxiety. My plate is Thanksgiving dinner full, and I wonder how I'll get everything on it done.

  4. I'll say, wiggling with anticipation! I try not to claim "anxiousness". I'm waiting on a prophesy to be fulfilled, and we're coming up on the time that "it's" supposed to happen.

  5. Just wiggling. With both kids in school full time, I thought I'd have plenty of time to be bored--but I haven't been for one second!
    Have a great weekend, Wendy!

  6. Wiggling with anxiety...my mom is coming for a visit today! I've got chicken soup on the stove for lunch, need to clean the kitchen, want to make chocolate chip cookies, and the apron for her (belated) birthday gift is still sitting on the sewing machine...hey, what am I doing reading blogs?!

  7. Wiggling, but not with anxiety. I have a lot of hotcakes on the griddle, and trying not to burn any of them!

  10. bored to tears -which is its own kind of torture - you're trying to be grateful and at the same time thinking about what to do that would change your situation..sigh

  11. Wiggling with excitement!! October is a crazy busy month, but one filled with so many blessings--book revisions, finalizing book launch party, celebrating 22 years of marriage, rejoicing with my mom as her healing continues...Amazing. All God. All the time.

  12. Wiggling, fidgeting, squirming...NaNoWriMo is coming and I need a good idea for a novel...and...my book, Wake Up Your Muse-1001 Story Starters for Fiction Writers is scheduled for release within the next 2 weeks!

  13. Neither. I always have plenty to occupy my mind. Anxiety is something I fight off at the first sign. It's a waste of energy and not pleasing to God.

I do struggle to maintain balance and get everything done. God gave us enough hours in the day to accomplish His purposes. My job is to invest my time and use wisdom in what I take on.

  14. I'm closer to wiggling at the moment, though I wouldn't call it anxiety, exactly. More like excitement. It's nice, because the last few weeks have involved a lot of waiting, which bores me to tears. But I'm learning to do it better. At least, I hope so! Ugh. :)

  15. Wiggling with anxiety because my laptop crashed this weekend and I've been scrambling to get a new one and figure out how to retrieve from the near dead one. Yes, definitely, ANXIETY!
