  1. The red ones.

And this one, three and a half years ago, "Oh my gosh, Ryan, two lines!"

  2. A prayer we prayed 2 years ago..."God we will do anything." and the he has taken us up on it. My life is not the same as it was before that prayer.

  4. "I do."

Although some days I feel like, "I don't wanna!" (Stomping my foot and pouting.) Marriage is harder than I thought it would be...for sure!

  5. When I was a teenager in anguish over sins I thought too many for God to forgive, I found "And their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more" in Hebrews. Those words changed me forever.

And of course, "Will you marry me?"

  6. Grace.

    You're hired.

    I do.

    Two pink lines.

    Another two pink lines.

    Contract.

    Cancer.

    Good-bye.

    More Grace.

  7. What words changed me?

"I love you, Keli." My wonderful husband said them to me first. They were the last words my beloved mother-in-law spoke this side of heaven just before she lost her final battle with breast cancer.

"I'm proud of you." I'd longed to hear these words from my parents. When I called to tell them I'd been offered a publishing contract, both of them said the same thing, and my heart filled to overflowing.
