Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.

Edits from my editor and news about the synopses I submitted for sequels.
ReplyDeletebaby # 2...love the baby pic.
ReplyDeleteI am waiting to finally birth a book, myself and my dreams.
ReplyDeleteHey, you one the picture book on my blog. Congrats. Send me your details and I will post it out. email tab@zaeya.com
I just jumped in today at my blog and am not waiting any longer. Timely God post for me. :O)
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for a sense of peace and encouragement from the One as I step out of my comfort zone and try something new next week.
ReplyDeleteTo hear from my agent that one or more of five publishers that have my proposals, love my writing and want to talk contracts.
ReplyDeleteFor the soon return or my Lord Jesus, to take us out of this mess, and to be reunited with my Daddy, stepdad, and grandparents.
The next fabulous minute with GOD!!!!!!

I love that first pic, reminds me of Alice in Wonderland!
ReplyDeleteI'm Waiting to exhale (sorry, I know it sounds like that movie with Whitney Houston). I had a doc appointment and had some blood drawn to see what's going on with my health. I feel like I'm holding my breath for some reason...not a good feeling :( I know God is in it, though.
Happy Weekend :)
I'm waiting to hear from a publisher. It's been seven LONG months and I've already nudged them once.
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for my house to sell. The Lord led my husband into a new job in a new state, so we are staying with friends while we wait for our house (in another state) to sell.

pub committee!!!!! I've been waiting for five months now!
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for courage to move forward. Fear has been holding me back.
ReplyDeleteAll my white platonic dreams to come true. God has given me too much hope for me to believe otherwise.
ReplyDeleteShort term? Rain. We could use it and it looks promising. :)
ReplyDeleteLong term? All that God has for us.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Karen
Never waiting - my theory is that if you're too busy waiting for something to happen, you'll miss all that is happening now.
ReplyDeletethe desire to forgive someone...
ReplyDeleteFor one of my awesome critique partners to hear super good news from an agent when she shops her incredible new novel. :)
ReplyDelete(Did you like how many "fantastic" adjectives I used? It's an addiction.)
For an agent's response to my manuscript.
ReplyDeleteTechnically, to see my first cover.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm with Heidi. If there's one thing the writing life teaches, it's NOT to wait, but to live instead.
Honestly, right now, nothing. I am living day to day, trying to survive. I know there are things coming up, but I'm not thinking about any of them. Scary, huh? :)

I could say I am living for now, but I also know I'm waiting. I'm waiting for my kids to graduate high school, for a debt to be paid, for a great guy-and on and on. But nothing that awaits me stops me from today (at least I hope so)!
ReplyDeleteTuition money.
ReplyDeleteI'm only a year away from graduation (bachelor of arts). I don't qualify for student loans any more because my husband landed a good job, but our family budget (we have two kids) isn't big enough to cover the astronomical cost of tuition. So my education is at a pause. We're expecting a little bit of an inheritance, enough to cover at least a semester, but it's currently tied up in red legal tape, so I'm playing the waiting game. It's so close I can taste it!
..for husband and myself to move into a new home we've recently purchased. Now in my mid-fifties, I've moved so many times since 18 years of age that I no longer have that waggy-tailed excitement, just hope, trust and faith that all will be well and we will love living there.
