Oooo! I'm coming back later to play. I know one of them is box, time, knocks....but I'm not sure what some of the others are. I love games!
ReplyDeleteSocks, fox, and shocks are the others. :)
ReplyDeleteVery clever and cute, Wendy!
Doh! I think I once accused the first song on your playlist of being Paul Simon. I always do that with that song! Rusted Root music can sound so... Paul Simon-y. :)
ReplyDeleteDelighted to meet you! I just found your site via the award that you won. Your rhyme, grabbed me. I will have to come up and try to figure it out .. too early in the am for me.
ReplyDeleteI will be back, this seems like a great place to be drenched in God's goodness.
Blessings from Costa rica,
Sarah Dawn
Uh....Thinking outside of the box, still tired of lost socks, perhaps why I'm chasing the fox, I don't want to fall into the pattern of chasing clocks, I'm all for spontaneity and shocks (that baby picture is classic), steering clear of the life of hard knocks.
ReplyDeleteYou always find the most interest pictures! Cool post.
No time to play ...
ReplyDeleteMuch writing today ...
My words have so much to say ...
Will come back to visit on Thursday ...
:)
I got the thinking outside the box. We writer hear that alot. But I guess I'm not much of a rhyme person, because the others evade me. Fun idea though!
ReplyDeleteMy brain is dead
ReplyDeleteI need to hit the bed!
(I can't figure out your rhyme! You'll have to clue me in later!)
Great idea!
ReplyDeleteHmmm-- I am not good at games--that's why they make Dads.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cindy's
ReplyDeletebox, socks, fox, clocks, shocks, and knocks.
Very clever, Wendy!
Cool idea. Where do you get your pictures? That was fun.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Very fun pictures. Found you through another friend.
ReplyDeleteFirst I just want to write that God richly blessed me today in rich conversations! I love our God!
ReplyDeleteKatie, glad you love games and glad you came back!
Janna, it helps that I do a lot of my writing right near the TV shows my kids watch...this blog was inspired by Superreaders. Funny about the music mix up.
Sarah Dawn, I'm so glad you visited! Wow, what an honor that would be if this was a place people could feel drenched in God's goodness! Those words grabbed me!
Cindy, it's part of the fun for me--finding the pictures. I also loved that baby picture & way to go--you figured out my little rhyme.
Joanne, what a crack up! Loved it! You know I'll be stopping by your blog too--your thoughts intrigue me every time!
Eileen, I'm smiling both at and with you right now. :D
Jody, I laughted out loud (still can't bring myself to write LOL for some odd reason) when I read your comment!
Traci, thanks and welcome!
Terri, you should see my husband play charades.
You are the clever one, Katie. I always enjoy your visits here!
Karen, blessings to you. I get them from flickr.com. That's why at the bottom of my posts I write that silly thing-- "photos by flickr." You should check it out if you haven't already. It's free and there are a ton of options.
Diane, hoping you felt welcome and I wrote it already, but finding the pictures is a blast.
Once again you all brought me to a new place of connection and laughter.
Looking forward to more connecting tomorrow!
Night,
~ Wendy
You are tired of lost socks, you are chasing a fox? Why chase a fox? All for shocks (the baby photo was my fav), and steering clear of hard knocks.
ReplyDeleteAnyone for Bagels and lox?
So thankful I don't have chicken pox!
Wendy, your poetic mind really rocks!
Thanks for the fun,
Jen, Audience of ONE
