Perspective

I'm not sure whether you've seen this yet, but please take a moment to notice the continued joy expressed. What a testimony to seeing life in perspective and trusting in God!

Then feel free to stop over at 5 Minutes for Faith to read what I wrote about love.

Have a meaningful day and weekend!

  6. Wendy, I LOVE 5 minutes for Faith! I'll be back there for sure. The heart for God is so evident in those posts.

I don't have an email for you so I thought I'd let you know here. Since I usually have few enough comments, I'm going to try to start responding to them more often. I thought I'd mention it in case you don't subscribe to comments when you post to my blog.

    I love you!

  9. And wonderful sentiment over at 5 Minutes for Faith. Children so often inspire us with their questions in such wise ways.

  13. Wendy,
I read your blog this morning when I couldn't watch the video (didn't want to wake up the house). I just now watched it and realized immediately it was one I've seen before but won't ever tire of crying through again.

Our church showed this clip on Eliot in Sunday worship a couple of months back. This is SUCH a beautiful testimony to parents' love, the value of life, and God's incredible magnitude to bless us. Thank you for sharing it.

  14. I linked here from Terri's site. This video was incredibly moving. 1 1/2 years ago I did my nine-month old niece's funeral. Her parents are not believers, so their was not the celebration of victory like their was for this little boy. But, for my wife, daughter and I who were present, we were able to feel victory in our hearts for my niece. We believe in the innocence of babies, so we trust fully that she is with God today. Thanks for posting.

Katie, what a great place to show this video--church!

Cool friend Cheryl, hope you got a chance to see it.

Anne, I love you too. I wrote it on your blog, but I really do. Speaking of crying, your posts have caused me to cry from time to time...you are such a LIGHT in this world!

Jessica, I love how you wrote so bad b/c that's how I felt...cried so bad.

Jennifer, I'm glad you've seen it...it's one of those I'm glad it out and about.

Joanne, my kids have been cracking me up lately w/ their questions (one being, did I give birth to the dog!)...Thanks for the feedback.

Angie, hope your weekend was good.

    Doodles--amazing, indeed.

Cindy, it made me appreciate that as well. God gives and takes away.

    T. Anne, I liked how it combined all that as well. That is how I like to write, so I think that is why I was so taken by it.

Danyelle, it is a *message*, isn't it!

Anne, I love the word magnitude...very fitting for this and the parents earned so much of my respect!!!

Warren, that must have been a moving ceremony, filled with feelings of joy for the baby in heaven, but sadness for the family as well. Thanks for stopping by! Bless you for shedding his light and love.

A.B., hope you could see the video.

Angie, Well, ROCK ON...I like prizes. I'll pop over and find the best way to leave my address.

Reviewer, thanks! I'm looking forward to visiting w/ my sister this week. :D

Missed you all this weekend, but I spent some meaningful time with family. Looking forward to this week!
