Every Friday I’m going
to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The
goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re
at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only
thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you
did.
It’s my hope to
understand you better through this and also to gain a greater understanding of
humanity and how people make decisions.
I believe I'd carry a never dulling pencil. That way, as I walked through life, I could sketch people, places and memories. Then I could write what I see, hear, smell and feel as the Lord whispers things of wonder in my ear throughout the journey.
ReplyDeleteMy ipod. Music has always been my inspiration. I can't go too long without listening to it or I feel restless.
ReplyDeleteA regenerating, never-melting snickers bar. I'd never be hungry again.
ReplyDeleteHello Wendy, have not participated in far too long!
ReplyDeleteMy answer is @

Probably my iPhone, that would never lose battery life. I have everyone I love and everything I might need at my fingertips.
ReplyDeleteA pen that never ran out of ink so I would always be able to write! Even if it was on my hands, arms, napkins, etc. :P
ReplyDeleteOh, definitely my iPhone. :) Because it has everything: contact with people, Bible, Kindle library, and, not going to lie, Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja! :)
ReplyDeleteTough question!
ReplyDeleteI never keep things in my pocket because I'm always afraid it will fall out and I'll lose it. :-)
My lip balm. It's all I carry in my pockets now.
ReplyDeleteI'll third the iPhone. And a pony tail holder.
ReplyDeleteI think my iphone with a spontaneously regenerating battery :)
ReplyDeleteTough question! I'd go with my iPod Nano because I'm not cool enough to own an iPhone. :)
ReplyDeleteMy wedding ring--I can't wear it because the copper alloy in the gold breaks out my skin.
ReplyDeleteYou are too creative, Wendy. This is a tough one. I like Lindsay's answer. :)
ReplyDeleteIf Katie can have a regenerating Snicker bar than I want regenerating cash in my pocket! Then I can buy everything I need. :)
ReplyDeleteA business card. I never know when I'm going to meet someone who doesn't know that I speak, I sing, I write with zing, and I kick myself when I lose an opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI was born with a business card in my tiny fist. I scheduled the first "How to Win Fiends and Influence Parents" class at the hosptial before my mom took me home in a pink blanket, and I came back six weeks later to teach it. I haven't stopped talking since.
tough question. i hate to be conformist, but my iphone would probably be my answer too. it's got my bible, photos, music...i could even type out (granted, with thumbs) manuscripts in docs to go. hard to beat. :)
ReplyDeleteA Bible. All the electronics wouldn't be of any use if there was no power source available.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to agree with Susan R. A Bible, the foundation of our lives is God's Word.
