Chocolate on Your Pillow

Every so often I feel it’s valuable to check in, to ask pertinent questions to make sure I’m doing all I can to keep you coming back. To keep moving your thoughts.
With that said, I’d love if you’d provide a little feedback today.

Which posts do you get the most out of:
A. reflections on faith
B. writing-related posts
C. personal stories or accounts
D. creative, hard to categorize posts (what I like to call “brain play”)
E. encouraging & inspirational posts (faith, life, mothering, writing, etc.)
F. culturally relevant pieces
G. carefully selected guest posts
H. book talk (reviews, commentary or insights about books I’m reading or have read)
I. Moving Thoughts Friday questions
J. I 8 Wednesday lists of 8

Anything else you’d like to see more of? My inquiring mind wants to know…what keeps you coming back to Thoughts that Move?

*next Monday I promise Where will finally make her debut (see previous Mon. posts)
**I appreciate your feedback!

  1. Right not that piece of cake is going to bring me back! :)

Honestly, it doesn't matter what you write about, I keep coming back because everything you write has a lesson or question that makes me think and it's all done cleverly.

  6. One thing I love about your blog, and the reason I come back, is your perspective on all these subjects. I can't wait to see what you're going to write next! I love that your blog subtitle is "thoughts that move" - because they truly do.

  7. I like your assortment of posts. They provide good food for thought and discussions. I know I don't make it for every post, but when I can get here, I really do like what I see! :)

  8. Okay, I will be specific. I like B, E, and C the most, but I still read the others, too, so I guess they all keep me coming back :)

  11. I love it all. :)

Okay, now to be helpful: I love the "hard to categorize" ones. Like when you talked about a fairy tale recently...and your "classic TV show" posts awhile back. Yeah, I like to be entertained. :) I like culturally relevant posts...writing posts...faith posts...

So, really, I do love it all and I will come back regardless. :)

  12. My favorites would be C, D and F but then sometimes I get surprised by a post and find a whole new genre of favorite.

  13. I truly appreciate your feedback. Check in posts like these help me to assess which direction I want to take the blog. Most days it has a mind of its own. ;-) Which I'm learning most of you are amenable to.

Coming off of a crazy & super busy weekend (so much fun). Been thinking lots of my mom & some medical tests she'll be having later this week. Feel free to throw up a prayer.

Hmm, otherwise I'm grateful you took the time to respond. Means a lot.
