Moving Thoughts Friday

Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.

It’s my hope to understand you better through this and also to gain a greater understanding of humanity and how people make decisions.

Interpret dreams or Decode espionage files?

  1. Interpret dreams. Sounds fun. Decoding files sounds like a lot of pressure AND work. :)

  3. I was going to say interpreting dreams, but then I remembered what Joseph's brothers did to him when he interpreted theirs. :) So, decoding espionage files...?? Solely because I don't want to be thrown into a pit, then sold into slavery. :)

  4. Hmmmm. I'd say interpreting dreams is more my style, and I've had some weird ones lately that need interpreting.

  5. (Lost my comment...)
    I love this question.
    I would say: interpret dreams.
My husband would say: decode espionage files.
And such is what makes for a fun marriage.

  6. Interpreting dreams! I just had a strange one last night and I love hearing other people's dreams. Decoding espionage files - just writing it made me cringe. :)

  7. Interpreting dreams might be freaky...there are some pretty whacked-out people out there! :) So decoding espionage films. Sounds patriotic.

  8. That's a hard one. I would love to know what my dreams meant, but at the same time, I'm kind of political junky. To know what other countries were thinking and doing would be kind of cool.

  9. Decoding espionage files because I like a challenge and am good at logic games. And, ahem, sometimes listening to other people's dreams makes me roll my eyes!

  10. Great question. I like interpreting my dreams - after a year of keeping an intentional dream journal patterns were revealed. It was hard work at times but I was able to figure a few things out. Since I'm inquisitive by nature, a political hack and a huge fan of mystery novels, I think it would be fun to decode espionage files too.

  12. Both! I think they are both fascinating. I'd love it if we could ever record our dreams and play them back for detailed analysis.
