Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.

Several months ago, after a doctor visit I discovered I’m vitamin B12 deficient. There were signs something was off. I’m glad I got to the...

I remember the first time I saw my mom crying. She was bawling, actually. I was in fifth grade. I took my time walking down our long lane ...
My dang car sure likes to pull left, even when I have the best intentions of smelling the roses. I believe an alignment is in order.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the time of year, unfortunately. I prefer to stop and smell the roses, but my day yesterday showed me I often live life in the fast lane.
ReplyDeleteI can't do the fast lane anymore--I love to stop and smell the roses--much more enjoyable and meaningful for me.
ReplyDeleteStop and smell the roses, although I need to do it more often. :)
ReplyDeleteIt feels like life in the fast lane. Thank the Lord for His strength otherwise I would have split in two by now:)
ReplyDeleteI try to balance things and not live at such a hurried pace. The older I get, the more I try to slow down and enjoy things.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend,
Karen
I'm such a fast lane type of girl, but I need to work on slowing down to smell the roses...
ReplyDeleteSee? I told everyone you have good questions! :-)
ReplyDeleteStop and smell the roses. I hate to be rushed or have life fly past me. Life is short and I want to enjoy every second!
Wendy:
ReplyDeleteI have done both. The past several years I have chosen to stop and smell the roses. Partly due to health and partly due to finding it easier to enjoy life.
Lovely pictures you have chosen here. Life in the fast lane. I'd like to simplfy to just a couple of projects but am not sure which ones to focus on. I am praying for clarity.
ReplyDeleteStop and smell the roses. I need my down time or I get cranky - just ask my husband. :)
ReplyDeleteI spend a lot of time in life's fast lane, but I do try to stop and smell the roses on occasion.
ReplyDeleteI've been in the fast lane, but now I'm learning to stop and smell the roses.
ReplyDeleteI go with both sorta. I live life in the fast lane, so I can get things done, doing ten things at once. Then that provides be the time to stop and smell the roses and just live a little doing what I want or nothing. That explanation do? Oh and I blog hopped to visit you.
ReplyDeleteI've always been one to stop and smell the roses. Assuming we only have one shot at life, why speed through it? It'll end soon enough, so we might as well make the most of it while we're here.
ReplyDeleteLife in the fast line.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say I'm all about stopping and smelling the roses ... but then you'd probably see me on the highway somewhere and instantly know I was not telling the truth.
Sure, I have seasons of pulling over into the right-hand lane and slowing it down ... but my usual pace is fast and furious ... and yeah, I kinda like it.
I WANT to stop and smell the roses, but this life is just moving too fast. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll slow down, at least for a day or two. :)
I'd prefer to stop and smell the roses. I end up doing that in my head while I'm flooring it. Probably not a good combination!
ReplyDeleteDefinately, take time to smell the roses. With one in college, one going next year and a little one still in elementary school, I've learned that time moves too fast . . . even while in the garden smelling the roses. Savor each moment, young mothers, and make sure to slow down for the important things.
ReplyDeleteI'm usually in the fast lane. Every now and then, I put everything on hold and just enjoy life.
ReplyDeleteI could tell your question would be about stopping and smelling the roses. I'd say I like both. I prefer the fast lane, only if what I'm doing is fun.
