One Question Friday

Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.

It is my hope to understand you better through this and also to gain a greater understanding of humanity and how people make decisions.

Ready for your question?

Wavering decision or confident indecision?

  1. Oh, dear. You're a creative one with this question, Wendy!

I must say wavering decision because: many people decide to follow Jesus without fully knowing what that committment means. They are wavering in their faith, but they shakily decide to plunge into the depths of His love. The deeper they dive, the more they discover how true and good He is. Like being married to your best friend.

  2. Hmm, I'd say confident indecision since there are moments when we're supposed to just wait on God's timing, and we can be confident in the in-between.

  3. Wendy,
I just love your Friday questions! But I'm going to waver on my decision to answer your question today. ;-) (Blame it on my son who woke me up at 4am this morning because he needed to tell me he had a stuffy nose.)

  4. These photos are beautiful--spirit-lifting. I think I choose wavering decision because I hate indecision. I'll choose anything over indecision. :-)

  5. Wavering decision. Indecision has a way of consuming our thoughts, days. So I'd rather the decision be made. Have a great weekend!

  6. Wavering decision. I can't imagine confident and indecision going together at all.

  7. I'll have to go with confident indecision in regard to my career and future in writing. I feel good about my abilities and the opportunities that await me, but I'm not totally decided what to pursue first and how to go about it.
Strangely enough my post today is along this topic and your first picture would have been a great one for my post.

  8. Wavering decisions.
I can't even formulate a mental image of confident indecision.

  9. Definitely confident indecision. I hate to make a decision and second guess it later. Of course, I hate not being able to make a decision too. Boy, you ask some tough questions.

  10. Oh, I'm confident in my indecisions. In fact I'm almost sure of it. Most of the time. If nothing else changes, and stand up tall and say, "I don't know" then sit down and say, "I think." :)

  11. Wavering Decision- I make a decision about an issue and always think," I could be wrong."

  12. confident indecision....I'm not always sure but pretty confident to move forward....or pray about something. Then I toss it to close friends and family to see what they say...I'm probably too impulsive at best. Have an awesome day...the pictures are the absolute best. Sarah

  13. I take my time making decisions. So I'll choose the first one... But once I make it, I'm sure.

  14. LOVE this question. Confident indecision. This way God can trump whatever little plans whirl about in my head. I'm kinda a freewheeler.

The fox picture is amazing. We have a rogue one running around in her very citified neighborhood. Also have skunks and possums.

  15. Well, it depends on what it is. How's that for a definite answer? Case in point - must ponder this one some more:)

  16. Ummmm....yikes, I don't know!

  17. Confidence trumps all. I figure peace is from the Lord, so I'll go with any road with peace illuminating the path.

BTW, Every time I put CeraVe on my hands I think of you now! Have you tried it? It really is amazing. I ordered mine off drugstore.com.

  18. Haha. I know how to answer this one. As I have terrible trouble making decisions, I hate wavering. It makes me feel unstable and insecure in my thought process, which is exactly what it is - unstable and insecure. But I can definitely count on myself to be indecisive.

  19. I love these questions. I like the confident indecision. Maybe just because it has the word confident in it.

  21. Wendy, this has got to be the hardest question and most beautiful photos I've seen on a Friday post.

Give me wavering decision. Anything but sitting still too long. I need to be moving. There's a quote that goes something like, "Make a decision and move on it. If it's the wrong decision, it'll come back and bite you so you now know what to do."

And BTW, I've missed being here. You're often in my thoughts, though. I love you!
