Every Friday I’m going to ask a question. The questions I choose might be ambiguous on purpose. The goal is to have you answer the question according to your beliefs, where you’re at in life or a circumstance that might have recently impacted you. The only thing I ask is that you provide an explanation for why you answered the way you did.
It is my hope to understand you better through this and also to gain a greater understanding of humanity and how people make decisions.
This morning I smiled at my children and said, “Today is January 1, 2010.”
One of my children gave a brilliant response, “Now what?”
And that is the exact thing I want to know from you.
Today is January 1, 2010…now what?

What a great question!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, I get used to writing date that differs more than it has in the last decade. And I get to work. :0)
Happy New Year!
What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteNow what? Now I try and get better like I always have. A new year doesn't change that for me because it is my belief that life is about progression and I'm always striving to become better than I was before, to continually progress.
Great question! Now what... I'm ready to take God at His Word. In church last night we looked at the passage in Psalms. God said His Word is exalted above all else. So this year I want to exalt it above all else.
ReplyDeleteNow what? Gonna move forward and run with the vision He gave me. I'm going to tell....tell that He is the source of freedom, life, peace. Tell that nothing could bring the chains and shatter the shame except Him. I never told....Now it's time to tell the truth of what He alone did. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteNow nothing. Except chips, pop, and football. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously. Now I (hope to) prepare my heart for a new year, a new decade and follow God in obedience and awe.
Every year my hopes for better things for my children and friends make me excited. Better things like health, jobs, maybe a book acceptance.... And God seeing us through it all.
ReplyDeleteNow what?
ReplyDeleteFunny...as I have heard God whispering that very question in my ear almost every day for two weeks.
"You have heard My call...you know what I want...now what?"
Now...I move forward. :)
Now what? Not exactly sure, but trusting the Lord to guide and see my family and I through. Will be doing a lot of writing this year with possible new and exciting projects.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Karen
Now what?
ReplyDeleteI am making this "The Year of Creativity." I am going to explore creativity in as many ways as I can and not feel like I should have a "real" job!
Now what? Great question, Wendy.
ReplyDeleteLast year held more blessings than I could ever have imagined. Now what I want to do is enjoy the journey and see what the Lord has in store for me, my family and my writing.
Okay, so my first instinct was buhhhh...that's a tough one. But it didn't take very long for me to realize what my Now What? is. Now I get closer to God by going to church more and reading my Bible more. That's what. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S.: There's an award for you at my blog. :)

Keep moving forward, one step at a time, my hand in His.
