Twitter Surprise

Sh. I know I’m not supposed to be here on a Thursday. But really it’s just my thoughts. I think they want you to know I’m on Twitter now.

So what are you waiting for…come fly with me!

Check out that little blue bird on the right or click here for the direct link.

Chirp you later (yeah, I did. I'm still not awake yet and again...just my thoughts).

  1. Good for you Wendy! I've been thinking about joining Twitter. Really thinking.

Let me know how you like it!

  2. Chirp, chirp! I'd fly with you if I was a twitterer, but I'm not. Maybe someday. :-) Have fun out there in twitland.

  3. You've flown from the nest! I've resisted so far, let us know how it's going from time to time.

  6. This is sad, but I just checked your reply on the "Never Caught Dead" post. Please forgive me, I just finished up with final exams at school and this semester was a bit of a doozy, so the past few days I've been lazy and chilling out when I remembered, "Hey, I posted on that entry, let me go check it out again." And that's when I saw your reply. (While I'm sitting her singing along to your playlist I think I'll just go ahead and say that our tastes in music are extremely similar. I love all of these songs.) Anyway, Janie, right: So, Janie is a character I've been following since my senior year of high school. I spent an entire year writing about her childhood (which wasn't even in my original plan for this book where she's the main character), and I just stopped writing this book of her childhood and jumped to the book I originally wanted to write. It's a long, complicated thing, but you can get a better idea of it on my blog. I promised I wouldn't use my blog to complain about my writing (a lot, I promised I wouldn't do it a lot), but I just had to vent. Anway, Janie started off being a lot like me and then I decided to change up her personality a little bit because she was too passive. Does that make me sound boring? Haha.

  7. Welcome! I'm not there very often, but I'm glad I've already taken the step to get it going. :)

  8. Tamika, Only on my second day, but so far it has been a fascinating ride. I think you'd enjoy it.

Eileen, About this time of year...SOUTH sounds good.

Jessica, Twitland...nice. You'd be a riot on there. I'd read yours often.

Joanne, I resisted for what felt like over a year. Had to test myself and my boundary setting. I'll have to keep myself under watch.

Cindy, I'd love to see you there, but I'll still reach out here and other places b/c I care to know what's going on with you.

Jody, You've been a fun support. Like a good bra. I just compared you to a bra...hmmm. What's up with that? It's probably all Anne L.B.'s (and my) breastfeeding talk.

Lauren, I'm really relaxed about how people communicate. I'm glad you shared more about what you are working on. I love it when characters have room to grow in a book. We all need that really.

    Patti, Cool deal.

Janna, I can't gauge how often I'll be there, but it's been eventful so far and I've picked up a few websites to check out. Worth my time so far.

I'm curious how you all will answer the One Question Friday tomorrow. Today was a run around crazy day. Looking forward to taking a breather. Fun stuff planned for the weekend. And...Christmas is coming!

    Peace,
    ~ Wendy
