But my very first thought when I read the question was Vivaldi's Four Seasons. I just saw Keli answered the same, but I swear I am not copying! I just love that classical piece, and even though I don't listen to it often, every time I hear it, my heart and spirit soar.Michelle DeRushahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00359712465784943599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91619058872894494.post-52102213587409057752011-06-03T20:11:04.593-07:002011-06-03T20:11:04.593-07:00Fun question! Am I occasionally "Lover Lay Down" by Dave Matthews Band? Yep. And I have days when I'm the full Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" album. Today? You are too young to know it, I bet, but it nourishes me in a dark forest of unknowns and thorny issues.

I have especially missed this blog on my hiatus. So glad to be back to your beauty! That's my writing music, and I've played the classic piece over 1,000 times. No kidding. I just checked iTunes. And that doesn't count the hundreds of times I've played it in my SportTrac. I seriously LOVE that piece. However, since there are no lyrics, I don't know if that classifies as a song.

So, pick number 2 would be "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." That's the hymn that was played when I took a stroll up the aisle to marry Gwynly. I can't hear the piece now without tearing up. But that's really not "my" song. That's more "our" song.

If I had to pick a song that would best fit me, it would "Don't Worry, Be Happy." I tend to be a worry wart, so I need the reminder to enjoy life. I can't listen to that song without smiling.Keli Gwynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13236868298400593688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91619058872894494.post-82781805610190100412011-06-03T08:01:08.775-07:002011-06-03T08:01:08.775-07:00TOUGHIE!

Not quiiite answering this question.

So I look a little more and Me and Jesus is there by Stellar Kart. Love this song! Not quite answering the "you" though. Made to Love by Toby Mac is a contender. So is Hanging on by Britt Nicole, Jesus loves you by Stellar Kart, Hero (Red Pill Mix) by Superchick and Dear X, by Disciple.

I think the closest may be Desert Song by Hillsong. (Which if you listen to the song listed just before it and then that should make you laugh. I mean, I like them both, but very different sounds!)Wendy Delfossehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16614782334273299261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91619058872894494.post-74065076578334292622011-06-03T07:57:19.111-07:002011-06-03T07:57:19.111-07:00"Grateful."
