Quiet...Wonderful collection of photos - as always!

Quiet, these days, makes me think of that hour or two after I put the kids to bed and before I go to bed. I love quiet, so it's a struggle sometimes to live in all noise and constant chatter of a family of 4 young talkative girls!Margo Berendsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03476308235642890474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91619058872894494.post-68447073553966199552011-04-10T12:38:42.718-07:002011-04-10T12:38:42.718-07:00Listening to birds' song on a lazy Summer afte...Listening to birds' song on a lazy Summer afternoon.

If those were my kids in that first photo, they'd be in time out for ten years. If I want to journal, I'm usually doing it at work where there's people talking. I can't really write at home because there's always people in and out of the house, so there's no real privacy. I remember when I lived on campus my freshman year of college, though, I sat outside of the library in front of the fountain and wrote in my journal. I was trying to capture in words the way the fountain looked to me. I'll have to share it on my blog one day if I can remember to do that. I think the description turned out pretty well; that's what I was trying to do: I was basically making myself work on my descriptions in writing by trying to describe the fountain in a unique way. I remember, even though there were a few people out and about, it still felt so quiet, and I felt pretty private, if not a little self-conscious. I eventually got over that, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91619058872894494.post-74648351179775914112011-04-09T15:28:34.264-07:002011-04-09T15:28:34.264-07:00When I think of "quiet" I think of a laz...When I think of "quiet" I think of a lazy afternoon in my backyard, sitting on a lounge chair with a good book.
