To do that I have to be happy so I can give a genuine smile to a stranger who looks frustrated) helping the kids with homework, catching up with my husband when he gets home from work, and tending to squabbles between the kids. By 7, if I haven't had a chance to write or read, I'm snippy. Hence, "Mom's bubble-izing." Not so fast. I ended up being an INFP. And though people fascinate me to no end, I'd have to agree. Introverts get their energy from being alone; extroverts charge up by social contact. This explains why my in-laws can be other people for twelve hours straight without feeling any strain, while I can only take a few consecutive hours of active socializing before I start to get tired.
